Let's Cook! Kitchen

Fresh vegetables and fruits are abundant all year in Santa Cruz. Eating seasonal foods isn’t only good for your body but good for the planet. Join us in a class that will focus on Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Each month we will be featuring one of our wonderful local farm’s and their bounty and teach you how to use seasonal produce. Learn to prepare meals that are delicious and, nutritious. Learn some culinary skills and gain nutritional information along with great recipes you can re-create at home. This month we are excited to feature Route 1 Farms!

This evenings menu: . -Collard and Red Quinoa Dolmas with Goat Feta, Dried Cranberries, and Orange Infused Oil           -Roasted Beets with Cumin  Orange Glaze with Mint over a Salad of Arugula with Toasted Walnuts and Lemon Peel Curls -Spinach and Dandelion Greens Frittata with crimini mushrooms and  feta cheese   -Adzuki Beans with Chard  -Lemon Pudding “Cake” with Berry Sauce  saved with Moroccan Mint Tea

The undersigned participant (“Participant”) has voluntarily requested to use the cooking facility (the “Facility”) of Let’s Cook Santa Cruz (the “Cooking School”) and to participate in activities or programs sponsored by the Cooking School (the “Activities”).  In consideration for the Cooking School agreeing to allow the Participant to use the Facility and to participate in the Activities, the Participant agrees to this Release of Liability (the “Release”).

The Participant acknowledges that using the Facility and participating in the Activities may involve certain risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury or property damage.  The Participant agrees to assume any and all risks involved in using the Facility or participating in the Activities.  The Participant releases and discharges the Cooking School and its owner, agents, representatives, partners, as well as all other persons who own, lease, operate or manage the Facility (collectively, the “Released Parties,”) from and against any and all damages, actions, claims and liabilities, whether known or unknown, anticipated or not anticipated, relating to or arising from the use of the Facility or participation in the Activities.   The Participant further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any loss, damage, liability and expense relating to or arising out of the use of the Facility or participation in the Activities.

If the Participant is a minor, the undersigned represents that he/she is the parent or legal guardian of the Participant, and hereby consents to the Participant using the Facility and participating in the Activities.  The undersigned agrees, personally and on behalf of the Participant, to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Release.  The undersigned further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any loss, damage, liability and expense relating to or arising out of the use of the Facility or participation in the Activities.
